My clinical approach covers the most common urological conditions in both men and women: sexually transmitted diseases, varicocele, infections of the penis and foreskin, adult phimosis, laser surgery for urinary stones, endoscopy of the urinary tract, preventive prostate checkups, urological cancer, male and female urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and male sexual health disorders, among many other conditions. I believe urology should not be an uncomfortable specialty. My goal is for each patient to leave the office with answers, with a clear plan, and with the peace of mind that they are in good hands.

I am a urologist who graduated from Universidad CES in Medellín, one of Colombia’s leading institutions for medical training. I have more than 10 years of clinical and surgical experience in urology, trained in high-complexity hospitals in Antioquia. Currently, I work as a urologist at Hospital General de Medellín and at Clínica Medellín de Occidente, where I treat cases of all levels of complexity of the urinary system and the male reproductive system. In parallel, I maintain private practice in Envigado and see patients via teleconsultation for Colombia and abroad through KURBUO. In the academic field, I am a university professor in four medical schools in the country: Universidad CES, Universidad de Antioquia (UdeA), Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), and Universidad de Cartagena. Teaching keeps me up to date with the most recent techniques in the specialty and allows me to train the new generations of urologists in the country.
